As specialists that provide "Live" Sound Equipment, Lighting, & Engineering Services; we take pride in offering the best sound services in the area; just ask some of the musicians we support (see my facebook links). We are dedicated to serving the needs of our customers with great equipment, fantastic engineers, and the service ability unmatched in the area. Upcoming Event / Tickets available=click the "E" here:
The following is an explanation of our (Scott4sound.com) service fee$$; we ARE NOT interested in renting / lending out single pieces of equipment; and when equipment goes out, so does an Engineer/grip ... The rate below isn't set "in stone" because you know we will work out whatever "the budget" can afford; it's just gotta be fair for all people (we can't work for free; and after the many years of doing it, we don't need the practice & exposure). YOU KNOW: we want you to sound great because that keeps people coming out to watch live shows, which means more $!$ for all ,,,
Rate Card:
Engineering (Lead guy at the board) w/no equipment = $150
**Typical Equipment for Typical 4 or 5 pcs. band (2mains / 2monitor mix) = $500
** for additional equip.& support above basic; starts at = $100 per. incident
** Grip / support / Lighting person = $100-$150 per.
Basic Lighting for Typical 4 or 5 pcs. band (Wash Lights & Controller)= $500
** for Fog, Spot Lighting, Intel.lighting; min.each = $100
So the Math typically looks like:
Lead Engineer: 150
Grip/ support: 100
Sound Equip: 500
Lighting Equip: 500
Spot Light: 100
----------------------------
Support Total: $1,350
Travel to other Cities outside of B-town: $1.50 per total miles (ie: Indy is 100 miles = $150 for travel). Staging and other things available on a per.show basis; let me know what you're looking for, I will probably have it available...
Important Note: When providing services in Venues which have "their own" equipment = is harder & more time consuming than you realize; let me explain = When we/I do sound in other venues, we end up having to bring much of our own stuff because of the condition (or lack of) the house sound gear ... at most bars & pubs, we have to re-route/wire most of the system, bring additional Main Speakers, SubWoofers, monitors, microphones, etc.etc... but then after the show, we then have to rewire the entire system back to "the house" profile (because they don't have that expertise or ability) = so, we do twice as much work as doing a regular show where we bring all our gear; hence why we would like to get paid at LEAST what we would normally (see above rate info.)
